i saw this band play a gritty warehouse space in Providence this summer. they fucking blew my mind. two bass one drums. it's like the most badass aspects of queens of the stone age but way more badass. DO IT!
eventually i'll get around to uploading all of the Abe Vigoda albums considering they are one of my favorites and they are just so unknown to most. but Skeleton seems to be the hardest to acquire so, here ya go fuckers.
East of the Wall is a band from New Jersey that has been absolutely blowing my mind lately. Especially with this record(their debut) featuring ex members of The Postman Syndrome. THIS.SHIT.IS.EPIC.
i seem to have a thing for posting shit by bands who no longer exist anymore. Radiation 4 was a weird kinda grindcore band with vocals sent through a plethora of effects. mr. bungle meets sleepytime gorilla museum? maybe.
Nature/Nurture was a band from New Bedford Massachusetts that is so good the entire WORLD needs to know what they missed by not being from southeastern Massachusetts. angular and passionate and beautiful and OH.MY.GOD.THE.GUITAR.HARMONIES. this is a band who will sadly be missed but hey! atleast you can download their last release for free download.
some of the most brilliantly beautiful music i've ever ever ever EVER heard. two piece "folktronic pop" from Portland Oregon. modern classical meets instrumental hip-hop.
As my first post i'd like to upload the debut EP by Mother Night from New Bedford Massachusetts. This three piece instrumental math rock show terrific range in these 18 short minutes. Songs are always jumping from place to place to place. Anthemic one second and driving another but not before going somewhere completely different on a dime not allowing you to be comfortable.
i'm this guy in this(mothernight.bandcamp.com) band that pushes music on those who don't know any better and yet, should.
